Iron Reagan - Demonetization

When crossover thrash legends IRON REAGAN release new music, I guess we just have to stop what we're doing, sit down, and check it out. Then again, it's impossible to sit quietly once the first few chords start bursting through the speakers.

The band return with their original lineup to unleash DEMONETIZATION, a brand-new six-track EP that finds the group firing on all cylinders and sounding as ferocious as ever. Clocking in at just ten minutes, DEMONETIZATION delivers six blistering tracks of pure crossover mayhem, combining punk, hardcore, fastcore, and thrash metal into the kind of breakneck assault that has defined IRON REAGAN since their earliest days.

As they declare on the EP's third track, they've made it as ugly and nasty as possible, and these songs are sure to cause absolute havoc in the mosh pit once they hit the stage.

Featuring Tony Foresta, Ryan Parrish, Paul "Dr. Guitar" Burnette, Phil Hall, and Adam Guilliams, the EP marks the return of the band's original lineup and their first recorded release with Burnette since the now-infamous 2014 split with Exhumed, recently reissued on vinyl by Tankcrimes.

Fast, furious, and unapologetically aggressive, DEMONETIZATION captures everything that has made IRON REAGAN one of the most beloved and destructive forces in modern crossover thrash. The band's trademark blend of razor-sharp riffs, hardcore urgency, and irreverent attitude remains fully intact, while the new material pushes the intensity even further.

With the original lineup reunited and operating at full strength, DEMONETIZATION feels less like a comeback and more like a declaration 'cause considering Tony Foresta's recent comments this EP is merely the opening salvo of the band's next chapter.
