Danish thrashers HATESPHERE have unveiled the cover artwork for their new album “To The Nines", scheduled for released through Napalm Records on the following dates:

March 25 - Finland, Spain
March 27 - Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, France, Italy, Sweden
March 30 - Rest of Europe
April 7 - USA, Canada

The follow-up to 2007’s “Serpent Smiles and Killer Eyes” was recorded at Antfarm Studio in Aarhus, Denmark with producer Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, MOONSPELL, DARK TRANQUILLITY, GOREFEST).

Reunited Progressive Death-Metal group CYNIC will release their new album, "Traced In Air" on October 27 through Season of Mist Records. The album contains eight new songs which were recorded at Glendale, California with producer Warren Riker (DOWN, SANTANA) and features the artwork of renowned artist Robert Venosa (who worked with band previously on "Focus").

CYNIC will be direct support slot on the OPETH European trek in November/December. The band has also been announced as the headliner for this year's ProgPower Europe festival, and will be playing a special extended set at the show. A U.S. tour will follow in early 2009.

Finnish Battle Metal act TURISAS, who are currently busy working on their first-ever DVD set for release later this year, have been confirmed to support British power metal group Dragonforce on their upcoming European headlining tour from January to March 2009. As previously announced, TURISAS have also been confirmed as the main support band for Dragonforce’s UK tour in September/October ’08.

Swedish Death/Black metallers ZONARIA have signed a worldwide deal with Century Media Records. The group has just entered the studio to record the follow-up to their 2007 debut "Infamy and the Breed", tentatively due later in the year.

Commented the band: "It is amazing how all this hard work paid off, and we can guarantee you great things this year and beyond. It has been a dream for all of us since we first started listening to metal. We listened to bands like ARCH ENEMY, DARK TRANQUILLITY, ICED EARTH and DREAM EVIL when we were just around 13-14 years old. If someone would have told us that we are going to be signed to the same label back then I'm pretty sure none of us would have believed it. Another equally great thing is that we are about to enter Studio Fredman (!), the studio where almost any great band worth mentioning has recorded their albums, to record our follow-up to 'Infamy And The Breed'. If any recording studio has been an unreachable dream for us so far — it has been this one! So everyone, expect great things!"
