Taking influences from the likes of Lamb of God, Unearth and Alexisonfire, this Italian five-piece have written a sophomore record that if you ignore some of the most cringe-worthy sing-along moments and some generic riffs here and there, is actually pretty competent and well worth of a few listens.
“Onryou”, which according to the press-release is a mythological spirit from Japanese folklore who is able to return to the physical world in order to seek vengeance, sees for the most part Ingraved meshing the crushing, potent riffing of Lamb of God and the sputtering beats of Unearth with a vocal dichotomy balanced between roaring and singing that recalls Alexisonfire modus operandi.
