This Atlanta-based quartet belongs to that wreckful breed of bands that are influenced by sludge icons Eyehategod and Buzzov*en and includes names like Deadbird, Weedeater and Black Cobra among others.
Their debut self-titled album shows no hope, no mercy and no glowing melodies, delivering instead a corrosive crusty-sludgy sound that is just as visceral and filthy as the best efforts from the aforementioned acts. Fiery, slow-driven riffs collide against bursts of scorching vocals that are maybe fifty-percent Mike Williams and the other fifty-percent Jude Black.
